About Our Services

What services does NETLAB Canada offer?

We offer custom website design, web application development, e-commerce solutions (WooCommerce, Shopify, custom storefronts), SEO and digital strategy, and cloud infrastructure management. Every project is built from scratch — we never use templates or page builders.

Do you use templates or page builders?

No. Every website we build is custom-designed and custom-coded from scratch. We do not use WordPress themes, Squarespace, Wix, or any drag-and-drop page builders. This means your website will never look like anyone else's, and it will perform significantly better than template-based alternatives.

What industries do you work with?

We have delivered projects across 12+ industries including healthcare, manufacturing, e-commerce, hospitality, construction, local services, automotive, media production, food delivery, retail, wholesale, and professional services. You can browse our portfolio by industry to see examples of our work in each sector.

What technologies do you use?

Our primary stack includes Astro, React, Next.js, Node.js, and TypeScript for frontend and backend development. We use Tailwind CSS for styling, PostgreSQL for databases, and deploy on Cloudflare Workers for edge performance. For CMS-based projects, we work with WordPress and WooCommerce. For payments, we integrate Stripe.

Pricing & Process

How much does a website cost?

Our Starter plan begins at $999 CAD for a single-page responsive website. Multi-page business websites with CMS start at $5,000 CAD (Professional plan). Enterprise projects with e-commerce, custom applications, or complex integrations are priced based on scope. Visit our pricing page for full details.

How long does it take to build a website?

Timeline depends on complexity. A single-page website takes 2-3 weeks. A multi-page business site takes 4-8 weeks. E-commerce stores take 6-12 weeks. Complex web applications can take 8-16 weeks or more. We provide a detailed timeline during the discovery phase before any work begins.

What is your design process?

Our process has four phases: Discovery and Strategy (understanding your business and goals), Design and Prototype (wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes), Development and Testing (building and testing the site), and Launch and Support (deployment, monitoring, and ongoing maintenance). Learn more on our process page.

Do you offer payment plans?

We are happy to discuss payment structures that work for your business. Typically, projects require a deposit to begin with the balance due at launch. For larger enterprise projects, we can arrange milestone-based payments. Contact us to discuss your specific needs.

What is included in the price?

Every project includes custom design (no templates), responsive development for all devices, basic SEO setup with meta tags and schema markup, SSL certificate, deployment on Cloudflare's edge network, and a post-launch support period. Professional and Enterprise plans include additional features like CMS integration, advanced SEO, and extended support.

Technical

Where are your websites hosted?

We deploy websites on Cloudflare Workers, an edge computing platform that serves your site from the data center closest to each visitor. This means your website loads in under 100 milliseconds for most visitors worldwide, with built-in DDoS protection and SSL encryption at no additional cost.

What is edge deployment?

Edge deployment means your website runs on servers distributed across 300+ data centers worldwide instead of a single server in one location. When someone visits your site, they are served by the nearest data center — resulting in faster load times regardless of where they are located. This is the same technology used by companies like Netflix and Cloudflare.

Do you build mobile-friendly websites?

Yes, all of our websites are designed mobile-first. This means we design for phones and tablets first, then scale up to desktop. Over 60% of web traffic comes from mobile devices, and Google uses mobile-first indexing — so a poor mobile experience directly hurts your search rankings. Every site we build is fully responsive across all screen sizes.

Do you provide SSL certificates?

Yes, SSL certificates are included with every project at no additional cost. All websites we deploy include HTTPS encryption automatically through Cloudflare, which also provides automatic certificate renewal so you never have to worry about expired certificates.

Can you integrate with third-party services?

Yes. We regularly integrate with Stripe for payment processing, AWS services (SES for email, S3 for file storage, RDS for databases), Supabase for authentication and real-time features, Google Analytics, CRM systems, and custom APIs. If you have a specific integration requirement, we can discuss it during the discovery phase.
